Worbla, a cosplay enthusiast’s best friend
Worbla thermoplastics can easily be heated and shaped into any form you wish. Once cooled, the plastic will hold this shape. This does not require specialized tools: a regular heat gun will do. The plastic is self-adhesive: heating up two pieces will make them stick together without glue. Since this material can be heated endlessly, there is no shelf life and scraps can be mushed together and reused. This makes it a perfect material for new artists who are just getting into cosplay. This material is not just for the uninitiated however, as it has been used for San Diego Comic Con, Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour and Cirque du Soleil shows.
